Scholarships Available! Design For Development Study Tour SA – Engineers Without Borders.
Experience community development, humanitarian engineering, and local Aboriginal culture on the Engineers Without Borders Design for Development Study Tour South Australia – 30th January to 5th February 2017.
The study tour is open to all undergraduate students, with scholarships available to cover full cost.
This is a one of a kind opportunity for students to undertake an immersive educational and cultural experience with the First Australians.
Study tour participants will:
§ experience workshops on the fundamentals of development and human centered design
§ develop a deeper understanding of the role engineering and technology play in creating positive change within communities
§ learn how the skills and knowledge you have learnt at university might be applied within an Aboriginal community context
§ contribute to your university’s professional work experience requirements, counting as 40 hours full-time equivalent.
Program dates: 30th January to 5th February 2017.
Program cost: $2,000 (scholarships available covering the full cost – refer to the application form at the link below)
