A research study is being conducted for software engineering students. Students who are currently enrolled in or who have already completed software engineering related course(s) are welcome to participate in the study.
The purpose of this study is to observe and gather students’ experiences with software engineering practical learning tasks, which will help researchers in understanding self-directed learning for software engineering students. This is a PhD research study under the supervision of Associate Professor Katrina Falkner and has approval from the University of Adelaide’s Human Research Ethics Committee with approval number H-2016-188.
The participation in this research is voluntary. No personal identifiable information will be traced back to the data collected in the study and student identities will not be used and disclosed in data analysis and results. The results of the study will be published in research conferences and journals.
