Don’t miss your chance to participate in the student Essay Competition for the 2016 ITS World Congress, Melbourne in 2016.

A winner from each state will receive $500 to travel to the 23rd World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems, and a complimentary registration.

The competition is open to Australian university students, including graduates and doctoral candidates. You are challenged to write an essay (maximum words 2,000) on one of two topics and ideally, support your entry with a short video (maximum 1 minute).

The World Congress brings together more than 7,000 delegates from around the world and includes government and agency representatives, multi-nationals, business leaders and start-ups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for winners to meet and engage with interstate and international ITS professionals, attend important discussions, see new products and innovations, and take Technical Tours to significant infrastructure hubs and demonstrations.

It will be a valuable introduction to networks, contacts and potential future employers and we’ll also introduce winners to a network of young ITS professionals in the Asia Pacific region.

Attached is the competition flyer and the deadline for student entries is Friday 29 July 2016.

Registration is easy, simply visit 2016 ITS World Congress website to register your interest and follow the instructions.
