Essay competition - win free registration and $500 travel grant for Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress Melbourne

Open to current undergraduate or post graduate students in an Australian tertiary institution, this is a chance for students with a passion for intelligent transport systems to promote themselves, their university and their work. 

Prize: $500 towards airfare and accomodation.  Free registration to 

23rd ITS World Congress in Melbourne from 10 to 14 October, 2016

About the competition:

Students are invited to write on one of two topics: Topic 1 - Describe how autonomous and connected vehicle technology can result in significant improvements to our transport systems OR Topic 2 - Describe how existing and future ITS deployments can help realisation of Smart Cities that are sustainable and liveable

Author must be enrolled at an Australian university

Essay submissions  are limited to one paper per student, maximum of 2,000 words

Deadline for submission is 29 July 2016
